Bayanda Gumbi

Hi there, I am Bayanda Gumbi I am a young African Male graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from the University of Cape Town. I have completed coursework in programming, web development, network security, and database management. I am certified in CompTIA A+, Network+, and Security+

I have worked as an IT specialist for 8 years, providing technical support and troubleshooting for employees at a well-established company in Cape Town. I began tutoring just after graduation, I enjoy teaching young learners in Business and Numerical subjects. I have also taught basic computer skills and coding to children at a summer camp. I have volunteered as a mentor for high school students interested in pursuing careers in technology.

I am proficient in a wide range of programming languages, including Java, Python, Scratch, and HTML/CSS. I am familiar with various operating systems and software applications and have a strong knowledge of networking fundamentals and cybersecurity principles. I am excellent in communication and interpersonal skills. 

I have a patient and encouraging teaching style, creating a positive and supportive learning environment for students. I utilize creative and interactive teaching methods to keep students engaged and motivated. I adapt lesson plans to cater to individual learning styles and abilities of each student that I tutor. I also provide constructive feedback and guidance to help students improve their skills and confidence.
